Detail of Design

Flower of Life mosaic tabletop
Talavera tile, steel base
20" x 20" x 18"
appr. wt., 35 lbs.

The table base is made of heavy steel painted black. The decorative Talavera tiles are a grass green, golden yellow, orange red, mid-toned to dark blues with a cream background. The fill tiles are a cream color and their edges have been filed smooth. The central flower is done with pieces of ceramic tile from a colorful Arabic geometric pattern. A sealant has been applied to the gray grout.

The symbol comes from the Flower of Life pattern that is found on a 6000-year-old temple in Egypt, as well as in many locations around the world. It is an expression of sacred geometry.

The table can be used outdoors or inside in an informal living area. It can be used to create a sacred space or altar in any area of your home or garden where you want a spiritual focus.
